• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just had a set of kuryakyn ISO's installed on the spyder and OMG they make a huge difference in comfort. Granted I only got to test them for about 10 miles while on my way back to work but i felt zero vibration and my hand didn't cramp at all. If anyone is looking for grips i would strongly recomend them.

:2thumbs: which ones did you install and what is the part #. I have a set on order # 6240 ISO grips. Thanks and happy motoring.( waiting for my Red SE5 )

I ordered Universal ISO grips for 7/8" Handlebars #6241

The onese you ardered are for 1" bars and are going to be to big. The 7/8" still had to have a little tape on the left side bar to take up a bit more space. And the throttle side fit like a glove.

+1 on the Iso's. Kuryakyn doesn't make much stuff that I like, but the ISO grips are a must have. I've had them on my last 3 bikes and immediately put them on the Spyder.

Not sure but they have a nice throttle boss add on for them.

But to answer your question...

Q: Will the Throttlemeister work with the Kuryakyn ISO grips?

A: Unfortunately, the Throttlemeister will not work with Kuryakyn grips. The Kuryakyn grip is a metal grip with a small diameter hole. The metal on metal contact would not work and the small hole is not big enough for our mounting hardware to fit through.

I heard that it is easy to screw up the throttle with the glue. I have a set of grips on order, what should I look out for at installation?

I had my dealer install mine but i know it was a very tight fit on the throttle sleeve and the glue dry's almost instantly.

I think I just saw a post where Lamonster machined out the end caps and is now using a throttlemeister kit with his grips

The ISO grips are definately very comfortable. These are the Universal ISO grips for 7/8 bars, just had them powder coated is all.
