Rode into Winston-Salem Honda thursday about 9:30am with new tire and was out of there by 11am. Tired mounted, bal, and belt adj/realigned along with retorque of front sprocket. $157 OTD.
I asked that they check computer for any updates and Svc mngr said they do, but later noted nothing written on work sheet.
Mechanic called me back when he saw the tire was 205/60-15 and said it might throw a code as he'd never mounted one that size. Told him to go ahead, and luckily it didn't.
Chose the General Altimax since i've been running a set on my Corolla and am pleased with them. Also, they are a fairly hard tire (70K warranty) which is what I wanted for longer wear than the 11K I got with the Kenda.
In the 40 mile ride home, partial interstate, it seemed (and this may be my imagination) to be less affected by heavy truck turbulance.
Started off with 30lbs till I get a better feel, but will prob drop down a couple.
