• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My brother sent me this link this morning: www.TiltingMotorWorks.com<http://www.TiltingMotorWorks.com>. He was on a panel of businessmen these folks pitched, looking for money. Looks interesting, but I'm not ready to give up my Spyder for a Harley.

Ride in comfort,

Bob Mighell, CEO, Tilting Motor Works, had a booth at Oyster Run at Anacortes, WA last weekend. There was a conversion on both a Honda and a Harley. I do not know if test rides were available but I did not ride. I have an Piaggio scooter, 8000 miles, which is a factory three wheeler out of Italy, the makers of Vespa's, to compare with the tilt conversion with. The Mr. Mighell rode around town a couple of times. I watched closely and it seemed kinds squirrely to me. To much weight on the top as opposed to Piagio scooter with a lower center of balance. It was $10,000 for conversion, which looked very well made and substantial, and $2,000 for button to lock wheels at less than 5mph so foot did not have to be put down at very slow speeds and stops. Speaking from experience I really do not see the advantage of the conversion for a motorcycle for those that are getting a Spyder because of health and/or safety concerns. I must say I really enjoy riding my Piaggio solo because of its ability to corner and 55mpg with the 500cc. For long trips and local rides two up nothing beats the Spyder. My 2 cents worth probably not worth 2 cents. I would like to keep an open mind and ride one to see how it handles.

Can't say that I'd every want a Harley - other than a Vrod - in any configuration. Further, my VT1300 Honda only had 82hp, or about 30 less than my RT.

However, I do see potential in the conversion, if paired with the right bike.

They are investigating the possibilites of building conversions for other types of bikes...

For a Harley-Davidson VRod

I found these folks when I was thinking about trike-ing my Road King. http://www.scorpiontrikes.com/

I have a very good friend that rides a Honda VRT 1800. He said unless it curves and counter-steers its not a motorcycle.

Can I ask what is everyone's facination with a dual front wheel leaning bike?

I know bikes lean and thats a big thing when you ride a two wheeler but I love how the spyder needs to be riden and the idea that you get your arse off the seat

Hi John
I have seen a few of this type of conversion before at SEMA but this one looks like a winner
