• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took front tires to a local tire place and had them put my new tires on. Just got done installing them. I put on Altimax , RT43 tires. Now I have 3 new ones on my Spyder. Also went to my local Spyder dealer and picked up a spare plastic mirror hanger. I had to use my other spare 2 weeks ago. Now I am ready to ryde some more. Bruce

I had those on my RT ( 175/65-15 ) , however I had to add washers to get clearance from the fender brackets ..... I also got over 37,000 mi. on them ..... good luck .... Mike

WHAT??? :yikes: You're still using those dodgy placcy hangers that break so easily & need constant replacement?!? :bdh:

Why on earth haven't you swapped over to Magic Mirror Mounts yet?!? :dontknow:

Go On, Do It!! You Know You Want To!! :lecturef_smilie:

Your only regret will probably be that you didn't do it sooner!!

You should really enjoy those tires tho! :ohyea:

Peter, I have thought about it, but I am cheap. I have broken 2 of those clips in 10 years. The first one I broke trying to put mirror back on, second one broke on a rough road. Maybe I need to ask the wife for them for christmas. Bruce

Long before they offered magnetic mirror mounts, I purchased spares of those plastic mounts and kept them in the trunk along with spare plastic push rivets.
Again, before magnet mounts were available, I modified our Spyder, doing away with those huge clumsy vibrating mirrors, and installed sleek securely mounted mirrors.
Guessing, I still have those plastic mounts in the trunk, and will double my money, trading for lunch, when another Spyder snaps a mirror off and needs those parts. Enjoy your oem setup.
