Hi All:

My name is Eckhard and I am a Spyder lover. I am from just outside Montreal, Canada where I live with my wife, many bikes and my 2011 Spyder RT Limited. The RT has 84,500 km(52,800)mi on it. I am a retired satellite technician who specialized in precision alignment and positioning. I am looking forward to learn some new things and meet some like minded people.

Hi,
I had a Silver 2011 RT SE5 and loved it. Check it out on my website. I lovesd that bike. My only words of wisdom is to keep your RPM's up:lecturef_smilie:. I always wanted to shift early because of the engine revs. Your 990 Rotex engine loves to run at high RPS's. I eventually burned out my trans. by shifting and running in the 3,000 range. Guess I was a slow learner.

Thanks for the words of welcome. The Spyder is new to me last week. Been biking since 1967 but getting old sucks in many different ways and Spyder compensate for some of that.
