There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. F4 Touring Windshields Pictures for the F3 Touring Model

This is the large F4 Touring Windshield in Clear and Vented. Some of you will say it's to tall and that's OK. We have two other shorter models available also.
This 25" model is designed for the rider and co rider to get the best wind protection. Most riders on this 25" model will look through the windshield. As you can see by the one picture with the rider on the bike who is about 6'1" tall he is looking through the shield.
Notice the width of the shield is designed to move the air around your body also. The F3 Touring has the windshield set far forward on this motorcycle so that it takes a little wider shield to get the air around the rider in all sizes. We tested this windshield extensively single up and two up and the results were great both at high and low speeds. The vent was really nice also.
Also notice that we made the 5 position vent so that you can open the glove box right in the middle of the vent giving you full access to this storage.
Now for those of you that don't want a shield that is that tall we also have a 23" and a 21" model and will custom cut a lower model for others on special request.
We have started production now on these shields and will be taking orders starting on June 20th (Monday) for shipping in two weeks or less. We are also offering 10% off for the first 30 days as noted in a previous post.
More pictures will be available on the shorter models in about a week or so. If you want to order call Alicia at 330-968-4644 and she will taker your order.
I will be out of the office for a week so address any questions to [email protected] or call Alicia if you would please.
Thanks and I hope you like our new product.
Ride Safe!
Don

The windshield dilema has been one of my biggest turn offs on the f3.

Love everything else. Have taken 2 for long rides and the wind beats me to death

Looks like it's still a problem even with all the windshield designs:dontknow:

Not with this windshield. It really makes a nice ride out of this great machine

I had the BRP Blue Ridge on mine when I bought it, it was terrible, wind hit me right in the eyes and the buffeting was worse, so I bought the F4 after reading many reviews of it, now the problem is solved, makes riding at 75/80 MPH a pleasure.:doorag:

Don can you give a little more info on the dimensions? Like:
1. Height/length above to top mounting holes for all three sizes.
2. Width at top of shield
3. Maximum width.

Also hard to see the shield in your pics. Would be much easier to get a feel for the size if you showed a lightly tinted model, just saying...

Thanks, Rick

windshield for the F3

I will have more pictures soon as the production parts come in next week and we take more pictures. Our shields are so clear it is hard to get pictures (just had to say that;))
The Height we offer is 21", 23" and 25"
The width at the bottom is about 25" measuring straight across moving the air out and around your hands and body.
At the 21" height it is about 22" wide measuring straight across moving the air out and around.
We have tested this windshield extensively and loved the results.
The F3 T and Limited has the windshield mounted more forward away from the rider than the F3 S so you need this width to handle the wind and this shield really does the job and gives the bike a nice look.

I am also not clear on measurements:
1. Measuring from top of windshield to WHERE?
2. Measuring from seat-bottom (at crotch), to my eyeballs is 29" - what size F4 will allow me to still see above the windshield on my F3T?

The measurements are from the bottom of the windshield to the top of the windshield. I will post pictures soon of the windshield with measurements and riders on the motorcycles to show the rider view on the different shields.
I am 6'1" with a 32" inseam and with the 25" shield I look through the shield. I look just over the 23" and well over the 21". All give me good wind protection and move the air up and over however it depends on your riding style. If you give me a call at 330-968-4644 on Tuesday I can help with this selection or once I get the shields in this week and get some more photos and pictures with measurements taken it may make your decision more precise.
Thanks and Ride Safe
Don
