• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all. New here. James Casey from Abbeville AL. Just bought a 2015 F3-S. Just got it home and love it.The 100 miles home was a breeze. Didn't tell me much about break in except to not full throttle and don't let it overheat. Any thing else I should know? :clap:

Well..!!

welcome to the spyder world and this sometimes strange site..:clap:congrats on your new awesome ryde..:2thumbs: main thing is don't hold to a steady speed. Run the rpms/speed up and down. Read your manual cover to cover it cover a lot of your questions. Read the do's and do not's here and you will be a pro and broken in in no time...:thumbup:

:welcome: :congrats: on your new F3

The usual on break in. Tires and brakes need 350 miles or so to get run in. I would take it easy there.

Vary the speeds as you put miles on. Allows everything to get set in nicely.

I do not recommend beating the crap out of your new machine before the initial service break in at 3000 miles.

There will be the urge to lay rubber and see what it will do. That is your choice.

:welcome::2thumbs:

Your owner's manual also recommends no hard breaking for 300?miles. Of course if one must for safety one must.

Don't forget to post the obligatory picture of your new ride.

Congrats, from another fellow new spyder owner (2015 RT-S brought home yesterday!)

You've gotta post a picture though!
