New F3 Ryder here!

Just got my 2015 Spyder F 3 SE6 Friday, June 24, 2016. I'm 62 and this is a new experience. I have been riding motorcycles since 1978. So why Spyder for me? I developed a problem with my left foot not being able to lift the shifter of a motorcycle. I began to use my whole hip to pull up the shifter and decided it was time to sell the bike. Yes, I did consider a motorcycle with heel/toe shift. That way all I would have had to do was step on the heel shifter to shift it. And I would have had to hold the motorcycle up with one foot at a stop. I wanted automatic transmission and since the motorcycle world hasn't been too accommodating in automatic transmission, Hello Can-Am! Plus 3 wheels and not having to put my foot down to hold a bike up appealed to me. Anyway, that's my short story and I'm stickn' to it. See ya on the road.....in Tallahassee, FL!

I've been riding for >30yrs, it has taken some time to get used to the Spyder, but becomes more enjoyable with each passing mile.

Do yourself a favor and get the aftermarket front swaybar. It makes the machine feel more flat which in turn gives more confidence when riding.
