There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. New Dual Exhaust

So I purchased a new all in one dual HD exhaust chrome edition from Spyder1Attitude. Waited for over 1 month for it to be delivered to my dealership to be installed. It's winter here, so trailered the bike down to get the exhaust installed. Dealership takes it out of the box and finds that the chrome is all scratched up like a grinding wheel hit it. Now I'm being told it's going to be another 2 weeks before a new exhaust can be shipped.

1. It seems to me when I've already waited my turn and have been patient that when an error on the manufacturer happens that they should expedite getting the new one out to you.
2. How can a company let that leave their shop in the first place? Its their reputation that is on the line.

If the new one comes unblemished, and sounds the way it should, all will be good again. Just wish they would get it right the first time. I've been waiting with ant's in my pants for over a month, just to get let down and have to wait more! ugh

and not for nothin' but those welds are awful! I also see cracking in the paint/powdercoat too! I'm pullin for ya to get the perfect set you should!

Appears that they buy mufflers already chromed, then wrap tape around the to serve as a guide of where to prep by grinding off the chrome. No doubt done freehand with a grinding disc.

I concour that the welds may work, but appear sub standard, then those were ground semi smooth. That operation is likely when the grinding disc went on a rampage and hit the chrome.

I would not accept work like that I don't care how long you waited for it. That is sub par novice work. My .02

That's par for the poor quality junk SA turns out. I also had the unfortunate experience dealing with thier poorly made, ill fitting parts and then the lack of customer service afterward. Then I was dumb enough to try a second time on a different bike. Never again.

I bought one from SA this summer at Deadwood. I'm torn because I got the sound to a level and rumble that I like and it looks awesome! But, the build quality is not there. It's a one-man show, so I like to support guys like him.

I modified it myself and added baffles to it and got the sound really nice.

My system is a complete system where it also bypasses the secondary muffler. So, that is great, BUT the bends for the pipe aren't quite right, so it sits very close to the right side. There are only two spring hooks, and they don't line up. Then there is no built-in support for the two bars or hanger. I recently took it off to try the RLS muffler bypass, and saw that it did indeed rub onto the right inside. While I was riding with the RLS system, I repainted it.

I put it back on this week. Man... the extra power is awesome, and it isn't too loud. Sounds great. I just hate how it isn't made to fit that well.

Ricky with RLS does a fantastic job. His new cat bypass is fantastic. I like it better than the straight one everyone has. His welds are great, and it is ceramic coated, not painted. The only problem for me is that his exhausts are too loud for me. I may have him custom make a couple of 3-4" pipes that fit to his bypass. IMG_2568.jpg

Terlich, It DOES look awesome on that Black Spyder though. Nicely done. Hope you do get/find the combination you want.
And again, kudos on your photography. Even that pic looks great!
