• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Chapter of life

Congrats :2thumbs:

I made that decision over a year ago - best thing I have ever did involving work!

It's great waking up in the morning thinking what do I want to do today, instead of what do I have to do :ohyea:

Give us a shout if you get to Sin City! I love what we do, so I don’t consider it work. We get to ride, meet cool Spyder people, turn wrenches, make people happy, and get paid to do it! Doubtful I’ll ever “retire”, but after a career as an Army officer, a career in heavy industry, I think I like this career best! Enjoy what you are doing, and do it to your hearts content! Congratulations! You deserve it! Joe

Congrats! Route 20 is in my backyard and I ride it all the time. Would be great to join you for a section of your ride when you come through upstate NY.

Congratulations on the retirement. If you are up for it, take HWY 50 back coast to coast. From DC to California. Or there is also HWY 6. Enjoy the trip!

:congrats: on your retirement.

I have 6 more years in the work force until I reach retirement.( at age 62) I am so looking forward to retirement.

Have a safe travels coast to coast.

Deanna

Great

Have a Great time on the new adventure. May you Live Long And Prosper. Happy Trails :riding: Go for the Gusto and Ride It Like You Stole It.

Our first big ride this spring will be Hwy. 20 coast to coast. I have done about half of it but this time we will start in Newport Or and end in Boston
Hwy 20, coupled with US 26 and 95, is about 200 yards from my front door here in Parma! Let me know when you're going to be here and let's ride, brunch, or lunch together for a bit!

I, like you spent 40 years traveling for construction, but never really exploring the many wonders our country has to offer. Been retired 4 years and have been seeing the sights on my Spyder. Enjoy.

that is an absolute awesome journey you have planned. when will you have dates and times in more detail? Just wondering as our NISR (Nebraska Iowa Spyder Ryders) group might meet up with you and buy you lunch somewhere along your Hwy 20 route???????
BIG F
