• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New brake peddle

New brake pedal

We got the new brake pedal that Steve makes when we left our bike with TricLed when we had all the lights installed on our Viper Red RTS ,the pedal is excellent and a great safety feature, can not miss in an emergency, Good work Steve:yes:

QUESTION: Since that larger pedal must weigh more than the stocker; has anybody noticed any pedal movement to be enough on a bumpy road that it starts acting as if somebody is ryding with their foot on the pedal a bit??

Not at all.. the new break pedals do not weight down the levers… it is a great safety and comfort feature.. I have both sides (break and emergency break) installed…
You are suffering from analysis paralysis ;)

I usually suffer from "anal" something-or-other anyway! :roflblack:

That popped up from one of those 3:00am bathroom runs... the strangest things run through your mind at that time of night...

I'd love to...
But the Missus caught up with some "unauthorized" purchases... :yikes:
So right now I'm treading water and lining up my future forays into the marketplace!

I've had it on for a bit, and it's def a huge difference. No more kicking the tupperware. If I remember it's 4" wide.

Ive since changed to a better looking one, but it is not quite as long, although still longer than the OEM. I'll post where that is when I look it up later on.:dontknow:

Bob: the brake pedal is only $35 plus shipping.

tofriendscreek: My brake pedal is not installed yet--but I have the Deluxe Seal Floorboards and will let you know how that set up works. Maybe this upcoming weekend.

 I know... I'm already in deep trouble though so I'm looking for options. :roflblack:

I think that she's holding the $35.00 over my head to teach me a lesson... :gaah:

Bob,

If I hadn't installed both my oversized brake pedals, I would give you one.

Bob, I think the 2xfloors people sale one pretty cheap, its like a 6 inch long 2x2 you bolt on.

I think I can send you one, PM me your address....

Here is another extended brake pad. http://www.esicycleproducts.com/spyderbilletpedalcovers.html

Scroll down, they have 2 sizes. The ESI billet brake pedal is not quite as long as the one we are discussing on here, but it does look nicer. It is longer than the OEM. Having use both of the aftermarket ones, i find that they both work fine and better than the OEM

Bob, gimme your addy, its yours:clap:

OEM 2 1/4
ESI Ext 3 1/4
Tric 4 1/4
