• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Blue RT-S

I did it! Sold my current trike and put down deposit on my new Orbital Blue RT-S! I can't wait to take it home. I have to wait until the lady who bought my trike gets her new enclosed trailer to take it home in. She doesn't want it to get dirty in her open trailer. I totally understand that. I don't have enough room in the garage for both. :(

I can't wait to have it in my garage. I can sit on it and pretend until the weather gets nicer. That's not weird, is it?

:congrats:welcome Not weird at all.
I went on a ryde the other day, only 28 degrees out. I didn't care, I dressed warm and enjoyed every bit of it!

"You can learn the controls, set your clock, and so on" :2thumbs:

Weather

It's the salt on the roads more than the temp that I'm worried about. From what everyone has posted, it seems like the RT handles the cold very well, with the windshield and heated grips.

I can't wait until all the salt and snow is gone. It's gonna be great. :2thumbs:

Congratulations!!!

Haven't decided what kind of ryding I'm doing or if I'm ryding at all before the steering issue is addressed. But if I am ryding, we should get together this season and go someplace.

Sounds good! We try to get to that area at least a couple of time a year. Love the food!

The lady who bought my trike lives in Hampton as well. Her sister has a VW trike.

I'm so glad I found this forum. There is tons of information, and everyone seems so friendly.
:clap::ohyea:

Sorry, Laura, I would have responded to this earlier but I was out in my garage (at the top of a snow-covered driveway) sitting on my Spyder, going "vroom, Vrrroooommm."

(Good luck!)

The Wait will drive you Crazy

:gaah: I really hope that you'll be careful.

You know that the Orbital Blue Spyders Have about twice the H.P. & three times the torque of the other Spyders. :roflblack:

That Blue is really sharp in person, much better than the pictures or the video.

Be prepared to answer a lot of questions.

:congrats:

I have only ridden my friends trikes for dozens of miles but you will love the Spyder. The handling is much better than a regular trike. Have fun and be safe.

Thanks all. It's now sitting at the dealer's waiting for me to bring it home. I don't have room for it until my old trike is picked up.

It's really hard to wait, but the dealer said I can come visit it anytime!

WAAAAAAA!!!!!

Good luck.
I'm a new owner also.
I get up in that neck of the woods once in a while. It's only about 2 or three hours from my house to the Gloucester memorial. Maybe we'll meet someday.
