Firstly let me say I love the concept of the Spyder it's great, but how is Can Am making any money when so many things need correcting under the warranty, my RT never even made it home a drive of 200klm, before it went into limp mode, trucked back to the dealer for a week, very long storey. Now before setting off to Queensland for a break, on a 4 week old Spyder, I thought I would check where all the rubber dust was coming from, learnt how to take the side panels off, and found the belt was hard up against the outer flange on drive sprocket, and the rear hard up against the inner flange, I found the belt was running, if that's the right word, 6-7mm out of line, and the only way to sort it is to swivel the engine clockwise to re-align, no easy task, back to the dealer, who it must be said is doing his best to put right faults these machines leave the factory with, I held off for a year until the RT hit the street, then I overcame my doubts, but they are proving to be well founded, and I hope when the belt is inline the vibration which is shocking, is improved, but not getting my hopes up.
