• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. New 2020

Picked up our new 2020 RT Limited Marcela Red today, beauty, brakes have been fixed but the passenger molding not. Unbelievable so disappointing.

BRP is gonna fix it, minor inconvenience. Odd not done off the line, thought BRP had the fix and the Marcela was the last machine built. Dealers are supposed to have the fix package any day now. Just my thoughts, not worth much.

I thought the parts for that particular fix weren't going to be available until 30 April anyway, so it's probably not too surprising; even if that's still the case & those particular parts haven't been delayed....

That was what I have been told as well. The brake fix part will be out at end of the month. I was at dealership getting ready to pick ours up when the “stop sale” order came down so now we are 2 1/2 weeks later and still waiting. Have all our gear and even insurance on the bike but no bike yet Hopefully we get a notification in the next few days letting us know it is ready for pickup.

If it was not correct at time of delivery, why did you buy it and take on the headaches ??

I agree with biker01red. I would not have accepted delivery of a machine that was not right and had ill fitting parts. At a minimum that would have put pressure on the dealer to make it right . . . JMHO

Interesting as my dealer has received all the brake fix parts weeks ago!

I picked up my 2020 red last Friday April. 23.and was told there were no recalls on it that the brakes were ok and body panels were ok. I did not check my panels I will today to make sure but they did have a gray one that cam in the same time as mine and they remove the seat.to look and it did have the panels mount properly srews in place no wire ties

Yes, very unfortunate. And arguably inexcusable. But it is what it is. BRP ran into problems that they must take the blame for, whether or not it was actually their fault. Cash flow is always critical with a company like this. And especially in these trying time where everyone is trying to survive.

Hopefully, BRP will make it right. They say they will and I expect that they will come through. They have always played the long game. I think everyone will be fine when it is all over. And enjoying their new Spyder in the mean time.

:congrats: on your new 2020 RT in Marsala Red. A very beautiful color indeed. :firstplace:

BRP is supposed to make good on the panels and the brakes of course are a no-brainer. This is currently a bad time for everyone. Things are moving way slow or not at all. Give them a chance.

And remember, there are good dealers and not so good ones. That also comes into play. IMO, big time.

My dealer has brake part. Said he could put it on while I wait if I came early. My blue 2020 blue was delivered in January body parts ok. Love it. My 5th, 3rd rt and 2 prior
F3. Many long tripes on each. No trouble on any concern.

Mine is still waiting for pickup in Nashville at the dealer. The part was supposedly coming two weeks ago and still waiting. Where did you pick yours up at?

Do you mind giving me the dealer you got your bike from, my guy said he would get the part elsewhere but cannot find one and said we are waiting on BRP. This is a little disappointing as I drove up to pick up 3 weeks ago and before we left the stop sale came out. Financial done and insurance already in place but no bike.

I picked up my 2020 RTL Anthracite Grey on March 9th. The rear panels are OK, no problems.
I called my dealer on April 2nd for the brake recall right after it was posted on this site.
They made the repair on April 15th while I waited, it took about 35 minutes. The tech was able to do it without removing as many parts as the BRP instructions suggest.
Incidentally, just yesterday, April 28th, I received the formal recall notice in the mail from BRP. The letter is dated April 1, mailed from Canada. I can't find a postmark, so I have no idea when the letter was actually mailed.

Saddlebag figment parts have been pushed out until 5/5. Trailer hitch kits have been pushed out to 6/15. I am at my dealer now. This is disappointing to say the least.
