• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bought it yesterday, and was able to bring it home earlier today.

I went on the Can-Am demo day yesterday, and was hooked! I've got many years of experience with 2 wheels, and a lot of habits to break. (I don't know if I'll ever stop reaching the the brake lever! : - )

It was an interesting inaugural ride home, almost all interstate/highway (Vancouver WA to Aloha Oregon - I5/405/26/217...)

Now time to start tweaking!

A special shout-out and thanks to the Columbia River chapter of the Spyder Riders of America, especially Bob and Chris for all of their helpful advice!

PAINT COLOR

:agree:...." FARKELING "...someone here said His Toyota is the same color as this New red from BRP......if so you may want to paint your DASH SURROUND to match your Spyder.......I did this to Deanna777 's Spyer in "Cognac " it really made the dash POP.......see her album pics.........Mike

That is purdy! On my initial ride home with a 2010 Spyder RT a couple weeks ago I noted some interesting stuff as well. The 2010 and your new RT are apples and oranges but I have since pumped the rear air pressure in the shock to 65 lbs, added a BajaRon anti-sway bar and metal Heim links and added Elka shocks. Why they didn't consider some of this stuff from the factory, I am not sure. It was needed. Again, many improvements have been made over the years and you may not have noticed any handling deficiencies...

Welcome..!!

congratulations on your beautiful new ryde..:2thumbs: will not take long fir you to get used to things and the tweaking (farkeling) it a lot of fun...:yes:know that once you begin it never ends...:roflblack::roflblack:
