There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great group, we bought Can-Am for my wife as she has a bad knee. She wanted a Harley Trike at first but now loves the Can-Am. I ride a 2017 Harley Ultra Limited. The Can-Am was really squirly on the open road. I think that is why the guy traded it in for a new one. I read in here about the the sway bars and Lazer alignment. Put the new parts on and it, handles awesome. Local dealer has the Lazer alignment system but said they don't have anybody trained to use it so that is next. Bike only had 6700 miles on it.

Tire pressure helps too. And or better tires. Lots of threads on the subject

Good luck on the new bike.

A alignment will help too..

I had the Harley Trike and went to a Spyder. The Harley drove like a tank and the parts for them were not any better.

Welcome, welcome 👍

Welcome to the spyder world and this most informative site... You have done well with the sway bar :agree: tire pressure and the alignment are important as well. One thing on these machines is the DPS. Translated to Dynamic Power Steering. It is great but does require you to get used to it. One of the first things is to relax your grip as it reacts to any slight movement of a nervous driver. As you get used to the machine you will see how well it tracks and how stable it really is. You can check with Ann and Joe from Squared Away (sponsor on the homepage) and see where they are or are going next. They are the best for your alignment and will help you with all your handling questions....

Welcome. In addition to reading the do's and don'ts ask your dealer to verify for you the fuel filter change interval. Your manual says @19K while the 2016 RT manual says 28K. The fuel filter part numbers are exactly the same for both MYs. My dealer said it was good for 28K. I asked BRP for clarification and they refered me to my dealer. Big help, huh.

Do you have any more info in the Pateros Rally. I live in Newberg Or. (near Portland). Sounds like it may be a fun trip.
Ride in comfort,

So how does your wife's knees like the RT? I also recently purchased a 2014 RTS as a 2nd Spyder for my daughter to ride sometime and also for me to ride. I finally got to ride for the first time yesterday and again today but find that my knees hurt and my legs feel cramped because the front of my foot is hitting the black plastic thing-a-ma-bob at the end of the driver foot boards. I also have an F3L and am accustomed to having my legs feel super comfy - unlike the RTS.
