• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The local Chandler dealer has offered a maintenance program. For the first 6 services for scheduled maintenance, I would pay $1748.00. 2.5 hours for the 1st. 2.5 hours for the 2nd. 7.5 hours for the 3rd. 2.5 hours for the 4th. 10 hours for the 5th. 2.5 hours for the 6th.
27.5 hours total. That comes out to $63.56 per hour, IF it takes that many hours to complete these schedules AND I am at my local dealer and not on the road somewhere. I do plan on taking out of town trips occasionally. I am handy with the tools but no knowledge of the Spyder. I haven't talked to the maintenance rep to see if for example, I changed the oil, that would lower the hours required per service or they will charge the full 2.5 hrs regardless. What are your thoughts?:helpsmilie:

Do not take it run away it is a rip off, do your own oil changes it is not rocket science.

The basic maint. schedule for 2014 RT is Oil Change and check over at 3000 miles.

Then, Next oil change at 9,300 miles (12,300) on the clock--or once a year--whichever comes first.

No valve adjustments are required--so I am wondering what is happening with 7.5 hours and 10 hours on later maintenance schedules.

I would question these items and bring them back here for discussion before plopping down the big bucks.

As I see it..!!

you would need an explanation on their hours and work involved. I do know there is a bit of time involved in changing that transmission filter on the se6's when the time comes. But it seems a bit steep I wouldleave it...:dontknow:
