• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NEW 2012 RTS SE5 THIS AM

After weeks of jonesing about the merits of the RT, and wearing out my computer reading the RT forum, I traded my 07 Goldwing this morning, for a 2012:yes: RED RTS/SE5! Long distance traveler here, and am anxious to take the RT on one of my long tirps. After 400000 miles on cycles, and sidecars, I figured it was time to try out something new. Gonna miss the Wing, I'm sure, but like all the features of the RT, and hope it works out well for me. Gotta get it set up for me, as the stock seat and I will not get along well. Now for the fun of adding all my little toys. Got a great deal at Daytona Fun machines. They have a great service dept, and easy to work with.

As an ex-Wing-Nut; you must be aware that the farkles make the man...and machine!:ohyea::yes::ohyea:
:congrats: and welcome to the Family! :2thumbs:

Welcome! The RT is at the top of the evolutionary chain!

From another x-winger:welcome: and :congrats:you'll love it. The handling will take a little time to get used to. You might want to try a little parking lot practice before going to far. Dale

Let the fun begin.

Another month and I hope to see a Lava Bronze Limited sitting in the garage.

Welcome:yes::yes: and congrats on the purchase, its always nice getting a new toy and the RT is a great one to get

:welcome:Now the fun starts!! As said earlier go to empty parking lot and PRACTICE PRACTICE!!! The RT is a unique machine and NOT like a 2 wheeler. Handling requires a different approach. Good luck and ENJOY THE RYDE!!!:ohyea:

:welcome:and :congrats: from another X winger. 1st thing you need to learn is it runs best above 3000 RPMs I don't even shift unless I am at 4000 RPMs believe me that will take some getting use to.

I have had my RT-S for about 2 weeks now and it has been a blast. My wife who swore she would never get on a bike is now asking when we will be going riding again. Enjoy
