• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I needed a mount for my iPhone on my RS and didn't have $$ to buy one,so I started looking around my workshop to find something to hold a holster I had and spotted a curtain rod standoff bracket left over from putting up new curtains in the sunroom and found it fit on the sleeve on the end of my handlebar just before my easy raisers ,this works great as the sleeve is plastic and turnes so I can adjust angle(just tighten the set screw to lock) The foot I screwed to my holster belt clip(added cable ties just as safety(in case something breaks)CIMG0443.jpgCIMG0444.jpgCIMG0442.jpgCIMG0440.jpgCIMG0439.jpg

I have not taken it out,it's raining here right now, but I don't think it will be a problem as it rests on the edge of the right control box, so it has support and i've never had much vibration on the handlebars.

Rode yesterday with phone on new mount, no vibration problem, but the sun washed out the screen. need to figure out a way to shade the screen as I use my iPhone as my GPS. Using the iPhone is the only way I can find to have phone,GPS and music(or audiobooks) going to the BlueTooth on our helmets(plus intercom)
