• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tried to install a Nelson Rigg Tank Bag on my 2013 ST S SM5, but the forward strap runs over the top of my e-brake switch. Has anyone else been successful installing one of these bags on a 2013 ST S? If so, tell me what I'm doing wrong.:dontknow:
Thanks,
Ron

I too have one hanging on the wall that I've never used. I purchased it when I had a GS and now I have a ST. The instructions link is for a RS/GS

The only thing I can think of is to permanently attach some D rings to the sides of the switch set and then attach the straps to those D rings. It will keep the strap away from the switches.

Something like this

Turk, can you tell me where you found the suction cups, or how they attached to the bottom of the bag?

Thanks,

Ron

Tank Bag

I too had a problem fitting the bag to the bike. I had she who commands extend the back hooks?/brackets? by about two inches so the seat would clear the bag. I'm able to wrap the front strap around the steering head enough to catch the Velcro. It is secure enough to be used and doesn't interfere with steering.

I bought that bag also but it is actually not made for the ST Limited so I returned it, I would have some interference with lifting the seat when I had it installed.

Ron I just googled suction cups and found ones with a 1\4 x 20 threaded mounting screw. put two small holes in bottom of bag and added two washers one on each side of the bag. its easy to put on and each suction cup has a small tab for removing them.....they stick real well to each side of the glove box. I hope this makes sense...
