• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need to secure license tag.

I have had one tag stolen last year, 45$ to get it replaced.
Put the new one on with tamper resistant bolts, if you don't have the tool they cannot be removed.
So last week someone tried to use some sort of tin snips, but the size of the bolt heads caused the tag to begin cracking.

Has anyone used a disk lock on the license plate? Any other suggestions?

At this point, I am considering a "fake" tag,( with the correct tag info) that would stay on the bike all the time, and using some sort of quick clip to put the real tag on while I'm on the road, and carry with me or in the frunk when not riding.

I had two plates vibrate off(cheap tin) and bought a plate frame to hold it,four bolts,if you used those temper proof bolts you should be secure.

Don't know..!!

but am curious why they want your plates so badly...:roflblack: Mostly I have seen them crack and vibrate loose etc. Those tamper proof bolts should work but with determination like that I don't know...:dontknow:

:agree: Where are you parking??
I'd put the back of your bike up against something...
(Well; within an inch or so)
Make it impossible for them, to have room to work on it!

$45 to replace I had a Florida state tag stolen, replaced no charge. I would Park up to a building.

Zip-Ties are cheap insurance...

Had two licence plates stolen in different places so far. It's a PIA getting them replaced.

I zip-tie my plate on. When in a suspect situation, cut the zips off and take the plate with me. Put the plate back on when I'm ready to ride.
