• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need to remove grille to get behind the speaker - How?

Howdy do to all,

The previous owner of my 2020 Spyder RT Ltd said there was a Pedal Commander stashed behind the right speaker (I know there are two grilles; he was not specific), and that I could remove the grill and then pair my phone (via their app) to it.

I am at sea here. Any step-by-step would be greatly appreciated.

On my 13STL, they just pushed in - small tabs in a few places to line up. Otherwise just careful not to bend & warp them out of shape :dontknow:

I'd be afraid of cracking them. Phoenix heat in the summer gets over 110, making plastic brittle...

I would be more afraid at removing them at -20 F then at 100 F ..... Look at a Fiche' for your year & model Spyder.... it will show you how it's attched and where .... good luck .... Mike

They are very easy to flex and will pop right out. Use a small flat blade screwdriver, nail file, or preferably a plastic body trim removal tool at the outside edge and pry it out toward you.

Got her done.

With a WickIt Stage 2 ECU tune, Akropovic exhaust, and RLS Cat Delete tube, this thing was an unruly monster. Fast as f#-#-ck, but neck snapping shifts. Turns out the former guy had the Power Commander set to Sport +4 !!!. I dialed it way back to Eco , and with the bike set to Eco, my wife no longer fears to drive it.

With the WickIt ECU tune, less than half throttle makes the bike tame in all-Eco setup. More than half throttle, and all those extra horses and torque are instantly available. I have the best of both worlds.
Now, one day I'll put the Power Commander in Track Mode, and this 78 year old might be posting from jail in the future.

Thanks again for all your kindly help!:b2b:

I hope you put it somewhere to play with, when you're by yourself and want to be froggie!!:congrats:
