Need to get a dog

I know this is a a Spyder forum, but humor me... I just finished Jack Reipe’s column in my new issue of BMW Owner News... funny guy... if you can get past the K bike/R bike racism... Anyway he tells the story about this woman side car mechanic that teaches her dog to fetch a crescent wrench. I gotta get me one of them. The dog! Not the woman! That way, the next time I’m flat on my back under the Spyder, I can tell the dog, bring me a 10mm wrench and a cold one. I’ll name her Genius. We’ll entertain everybody at rallies. Hey Genius! Not that one. Don’t you know what a 10mm wrench looks like? Who trained you anyway:roflblack::roflblack:

Everybody needs a dog! We have 3! 2 German Shepherds (puppies) and a full grown Belgian Malenois. When the Kung flu hit, I did not have a mask. I needed to go to the drugstore. I Brought Beau, the Mal. When the clerk said “hey, you don’t have a mask!” , I responded “Hey, I have an attack dog!”. Social distancing is easy with a pointy eared dog! Know what? Nobody came within 10 feet! People would leave rather than get too close! Amazing how well that works!!!

I had a donkey that would pick up tools and carry them off while you was working on the fence. It wasn't much help.

I loved taking our Great Danes to home depot----- more of a magnet though.

Agree, and this is one of many reasons our society has the problems it has. Gwolf's donkey seems to be more capable than many. LOL I'll stop here. JMHO

Yeah, but just about the time I wanted a 7/16 wrench a squirrel would run through the shop and my tools would take off chasing him.
