There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If your brake lights quit working the nanny will put you in limp mode...as to what you can do, there are brighter bulbs, there are leds, and then you can add lights to the front fenders that work with the brakes. I just added them...

Tricled & rivco SOMA lights
got @ spyderfest. Fyi longer led on top is tricled, short led is the SOMA (stay off my a**) that modulate when i step on break. I like em & do feel safer can see red glow on back of blinkers & edge of saddlebags from my mirrors, so i know I'm lit.

Whelen TIR 3
I just added a Whelen TIR 3 flashing led emergency light to my RS-S. This dude lights up the whole hood when I hit the brakes! GOOGLE it. Sorry have not made the video. I mounted it under the stock light. You will have to fabricate a bracket and mount it on the panel under the stock light.:cheers:

I added the light system from one of the sponsors of this site, they have changed their name, I went with the centre led lamp with the signal lamps and the stock lamp upgrade, very bright and usefull, can switch from steady brake lamp to flashing and then steady brake lamp. Sorry do not remember the name of the company. 2008 sm5
