• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need sprocket - a new white front sprocket. Where do I get it?

Not sure where to get the most recent one out. Shaun Smoaks said in a video, which I cannot now find, to insist on getting the white sprocket but did not say where to get it. Also what have you all used to put on the splines at reassembly? Shaun had one he recommended but it was wicked expensive. Thanks

The current Can Am part number for the pulley is the “White” new version. Don’t forget to use assembly paste on the splines and a new bolt torqued to 110 ft lbs.

There’s a reason it’s expensive, and there’s a reason Shaun Smokes uses it……it works perfectly on the sprocket replacements he does, and he does plenty. Why take chance that your sprocket will fail again just to save a few bucks, Onei? ;)

Thanks Chris, ordered one tonight from a local dealer, said it was the updated part number, also the bolt. Just a bit more than on line but I will have it in 3 days and no shipping.

Shaun does a lot for sure which spreads out the cost and I'm sure his shop pays for it. I might use it once hopefully with the new sprocket. I have searched for that video of him doing it and I cannot find it. Thanks for your input.
