Need some more advise?

Just ordered Spyderpops block off plate, belt guard (have had that happen once), and catalytic converter shield. I read on here some where that the bottom cover needs to be taken off to help with the air flow? :dontknow:

Yes, you want to take off the lower pan when you install the block off plate.

The instructions that come with the block off plate should show which plate needs to be removed. I drove my RT up on car ramps and removed two bolts that hold the plate to the frame and then removed the bolt on the opposite side. Instructions say you can cut the plastic and leave the third bolt (near the outer edge of the bike), but I chose to unbolt it and then modify the plate. Have not reinstalled it as yet....

As for the location of said plate, it's slightly in front of the driver peg on the Right side of the Spyder, on the belly of course...

Hope this helps...Had mine off in less than 5 minutes....
