• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NEED SOME MATH HELP

I think there are two problems here. First, at least one of the OP's measurements was inaccurate. If the height was 16 and the width was 15.5, the hypotenuse would be approx 22.27. Second, you really wanted to take the acos, not atan. Cosine is the ratio of the side adjacent to an acute angle (in a right-angled triangle) to the hypotenuse.

angle = acos(16/22.27) = 44.1 degrees

:agree: First confirm the numba's then cosine that badboy to oblivion.

Never would I think we would be talking Trig with regards to windshields. So Mike, what do you need the degree angle information FOR?

He has a one of a kind windshield and mounting place that nobody has. Mike has alot of talent in his brain. I kick myself in the butt because I didn't take pics of his mods when I had the chance a few weeks ago.

Angle finder works just fine doesn't it. You might consider moving the whole windshield forward...its not the angle of the windshield so much as it is the depth of the resultant slot at the bottom. You'll have a good supply of flowing air over the back of the shield which will minimize the vortices at the top of the shield making it smoother for you. It comes under the subject of boundary layer control and I messed with it when I was racing hydros in the UK.

All I know is that I told Mrs. alegbra to stop asking me to fine her X he is gone and not comning back:roflblack:

so... What do you need to know the angle of your windshield fer?

I would assume to calculate some drag coefficent(yea I cant spell, bring it). that or raise or lower it for better aerodynamics.
