There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Need some help getting Insurance?

Do you still have the 08 GS?
That's why your insurance is so cheap: the age and value of your bike have made it so...

(I've got an insured with an 09 RS, who pays $257...)

Ya, still have the bike. Have had it for 1 year. Bought it used with 37,000 km on it
So far, works great, no problems, except the nearest dealer is over an hour away from my house.

BOB D. WILL SPANK ME FOR THIS

DAIRYLAND - they are motorcycles only & have been around for 35 + years. I'm 67, live in Vt. got very good FULL coverage for $240 for entire 12 months coverage, no mileage restriction. It won't hurt to call? Mike

I'm not spanking anybody today, Mike... :D
What I WILL say, is that you're not buying a loaf of bread from the store. You pay for your Agent's expertise, experience, and advice. You pay for prompt and accurate claims procedures. If this were just a loaf of bread; price should be the only concern. (Well; price, and the expiration dates!).
But it's not...

Notice how the state farm commercials say "move to a better state" ? Its not a slogan its the rates! & sad to say my state is part of the problem.

I called "AARP" & got a Quote for my 2014RTS-SE6 - they said" $685.00 for 1 year, they are with Foremost insurance. (I do belong to AARP)

Any person with assets that he values should consider using an insurance agent. The purchase of insurance as a commodity rather than as a product tailored to individual requirements can result in financial disaster. Many online sources sell insurance on price alone...low limits, no under/uninsured motorists, and etc. It may be worthwhile to consider "total loss replacement" for the first year or two of ownership given the profound effect of depreciation on some new vehicles...especially if there is a lien holder. One needs to consider the underlying limits that ones umbrella requires.

There are many concerns that are best reviewed by a competent agent who is familiar with the insured's needs.

I agree with the advice to use a local insurance agent. In the time that I've insured motorcycles through our agent, they have changed our coverage from one company to another (with our permission, of course) several times when they found that we could get equal coverage at better rates. Currently, our 2010 RT and my 2003 BMW f650 is covered by Foremost. The RT includes full coverage and the BMW just liability. The policy includes a pretty comprehensive roadside assistance and towing policy for both bikes. Cost for both bikes is $377.00 per year.

I'd much rather have my agent do the research and recommend coverage options than having to do it myself. I don't know that much about it. I have never had a claim of any kind on my motorcycles but I have on my passenger cars and it's as simple as explaining to the agent what happened and getting the problem fixed. No hassles whatsoever.

...And if you can find an Agent who also rides: :ohyea::yes:
You can stop by, drink coffee, and talk about really important stuff...

...Like where the best coffee shops can be found out there!
