There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. :congrats: on getting closer! :D
It sounds promising. Can you get the V.I.N., and have a dealer run it for you?
2014s have been MUCH better than their predecessors, but still have had some issues:
ignition switches
DESS modules
some minor oil leaks

It wouldn't hurt to see what the bike has been through...

Happy Hunting!

The 14 RTs we have has been pretty rock solid. It was an early build. I guess the big thing could be is the bike local to you or are you buying it sight unseen. The warranty can be extended if you want to. You made no mention of what upgrades, but a quality seat is pricy and if included may help justify the 20k asking price. Yes, some of the 14's did have oil leaks, but was an easy fix if it was the set screw. the leaks seemed to be random as far as serial numbers, but again an easy fix. Some, I mean very few did have oil leaks from a defective engine casting, but those should be resolved by now also. The DESS and key switch is a known and well published issue that is taken care of under warranty. You will want a dealer to verify by the vin or serial number if the ignition switch needed or has been replaced. Ideally, the original owner has the black plastic key tag with the key code since that was how they identified if replacement is needed. Has the bike had a proper front wheel alignment is worth knowing. The 20k asking price is ok, there have been some very nice well equipped RTs posted on here for similar or less money. The other ting is why is the person selling it, bored with it as it has low miles, doesn't like it, to expensive, or afraid of it.

Her is the sale:
Selling my Spyder RTS 2014. 2847 miles. Am not using it. Do not have space to put it. Has plenty of farkles or addons. TricLeds fender lights, American LED flag. Put on bigger seat but have original with back rest. Phone holder. Highway pegs. Bought in 14 and dont remember if I have the 4 year or 6 year BEST warranty. I know it has it. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask. $20,000.00

PMK has given you an excellent rundown on the early 2014s including the key tag number that identifies RTs that need the ignition switch replaced. FWIW, mine was built on 3/8/14 and did not have the set screw oil leak problem; must have been factory fixed by then. It's ignition was also not involved in the replacement problem. Regarding the added farkles, IMO many selling owners have an inflated idea of the value of farkles when it comes to setting the asking price of a used Spyder. I would want to know what brand/kind of "bigger" seat was installed. Is it the BRP Comfort Seat that gives the driver 2" additional leg room, or a third party seat. Only your own butt is going to know how good the seat is. Although it's a relatively new bike with low mileage I would want to know if it has had the first service done yet as it may have 2+ year old oil in the engine that I would want out of it, or some give on the price because that's the first thing I would do if buying it. If the original owner doesn't have a place to put it where has it been kept and when was the last time it was started and/or ridden. Has it been kept on a battery tender when not used? With the VIN you or the dealer could find out how long the B.E.S.T. warranty is for and when it went into effect, if it has officially gone into effect after the original two year factory warranty that began on the date of original purchase. Sounds like a good opening negotiating price that will give you some room to pinch down particularly if it has not had a Rolo laser alignment. Sounds like a salable horse to me if you get satisfactory answers to your questions. Good luck!
