The 14 RTs we have has been pretty rock solid. It was an early build. I guess the big thing could be is the bike local to you or are you buying it sight unseen. The warranty can be extended if you want to. You made no mention of what upgrades, but a quality seat is pricy and if included may help justify the 20k asking price. Yes, some of the 14's did have oil leaks, but was an easy fix if it was the set screw. the leaks seemed to be random as far as serial numbers, but again an easy fix. Some, I mean very few did have oil leaks from a defective engine casting, but those should be resolved by now also. The DESS and key switch is a known and well published issue that is taken care of under warranty. You will want a dealer to verify by the vin or serial number if the ignition switch needed or has been replaced. Ideally, the original owner has the black plastic key tag with the key code since that was how they identified if replacement is needed. Has the bike had a proper front wheel alignment is worth knowing. The 20k asking price is ok, there have been some very nice well equipped RTs posted on here for similar or less money. The other ting is why is the person selling it, bored with it as it has low miles, doesn't like it, to expensive, or afraid of it.
