There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hello

I have a 2012 RTS SE5

Last week dealer replaced a valve cover gasket/seal.
Since I picked up the Spyder from having the gasket replaced I now find the air compressor making lots of noise. I know it comes on lots of times while keeping the rear suspension up to the proper air level and this is normal. However before I did not hear it very loud but now I do or it maybe the vibration from it.

Any ideas what might have happened to it while having the valve cover gasket changed?

Where is the compressor located?

Thanks for any help.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

It could be a co-incidence, YES, ............however is it possible whoever did the work on your Spyder did something that is now causing this new issue .....YES..................You would be the first person to bring in their Spyder for work and have it come back needing more work than before !!!!!!..................Take it back.....................Mike

Depends..!

which gaskets did they replace. ?? Rear cylinder or front. They may have done something in that area (rear) that needs to be tightened up or hooked back up causing the added noise and vibration. They have had problems with these compressors but it is odd that you problem started this way. I agree you take her back and have the tech recheck...:gaah:

Compressor is located on the right side behind the right storage case. It's a small DC Motor. If you are riding on smooth surfaced road do you hear the compressor? I don't think it's the compressor.
