• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wow, just reading this for the first time !! :yikes: I am so glad he is doing ok, and that he injuries are not more severe.

I have been in that situation with my arm before, two completely broken bones and doctors telling me I would never use my arm again because of the severity of the break and the nerve damage. I worked so hard to get back into shape that I went back to my doctor a year and a half later and showed him how well my middle finger worked. ;)
 
Your son

I think I can safely speak for almost the entire Spyder community in that your son, you and your family are in our thoughts. I saw the post on Facebook a few days ago and wanted to get back up here to see the updates. Please keep us apprised, at your convenience, on how he (and your family) are doing. Also if there is anything we can can do to help, don't hesitate to let us know!

I heard the news of your son, Nathan, over the weekend while hosting the 2012 Fall Mid-Atlantic Scooter Rally and Spyder Ryde in New Holland, PA, at which we had more than a dozen Spyders ... all of us joining in making Nathan and your family the subject of heartfelt concern, fond meanderings about Spyderlovers.com, and prayers that your son pulls through.
