NEED PARKING BRAKE HELP

I have searched this forum high and low and can't find the answer to the problem I've got.
so here it go. First of all I have a 2012 RSS- SE5 and I was attempting to adjust the parking brake.
After watching the video and mid way thru the adjustment the black thing (Sorry don't know what it's called)
popped off along with the spring. I put it back together and now I have no parking brake what at all.

PLEASE HELP WITH SOME ADVICE...

I'm not a wrench head but I do know righty tighty lefty loosey

Check the cable in the front the cable might has fallen off the front pulley if the cable does not pull the cable fell off

I don't think there's a pulley on the rs model...

Are you talking about the arm that bolts to the back of the caliper with a big nut?

Try this

If you took the nut off the arm that the brake cable pulls, and the arm fell off the splined shaft, no problem. Ignore the cable for now. Put the arm on, and twist. If you feel it applying the brake, you are in the ballpark. If you feel nothing, remove the arm, rotate it, and slip it back on. Feel it apply the brake while twisting. Sometimes, it is a matter of one spline at a time until you feel it is in the friction zone. Once that is good, put the cable on, and adjust the cable and locknuts until it works again. No panic, nothing you can't fix. Use wheel chocks until it is fixed so it does not roll away!
