• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Need NMN 4" Riser pics please

Does anyone have good pics they can post here showing the NMN 4" risers installed?
What I would like to see is a front view, facing the spyder and preferable with a stock windshield. I got in the 4" risers today, but after looking them over, I'm not sure sure I want to give up the more racing look and may just have the dealer install a 1" riser to keep that look.

Almost seems like too much "stuff" hanging up too high unless you have an aftermarket taller windshield to cover it up some.

Much appreciated!

I wouldn't say 'most folks have them.' At least, not yet...I have the 1" riser and love the position on the bike...I am very comfortable...that's not to say I won't add NMN's 3" riser to that some time soon, but the bike is very comfortable, at least for me, with the lowly 1" BRP riser...

I have the BRP 1" riser and I got big time pain in my right shoulder after riding for 30 minutes or so. I got the No Magic Neon 3" risers and have not had ANY pain since! I'm sold!:yes::yes::yes::yes:

Blink, I was going to tell you that the NMN risers are really a performance mod nojoke and that the improved handling way offsets any apperance concerns for me, but then I saw you are from Tampa and realized there are no twisty roads where you live!:D

Yea Allen but you don't ride fast enough to need the additional handling improvement they provide. :D :joke: :roflblack:

I know this was asked before, but I cannot find it with a search.

Is there any minus to having the 1" BRP riser and adding the 3" versus going with the 4" (and I suppose removing the BRP riser)?

Thanks,

Pete

No, just the removal of the BRP 1 inch riser is a real pain in the neck! :yikes:

That's funny Mike, but true!
Just means we get to ride faster like NMN says, lol.

It looks like I can install these and not cut the handlebars, so I think I will go ahead with the install, leave the bars in tack and then make the final decision after running them for a few hundred miles.

I'll update later this week, thanks for the help.

Got the risers installed today, and I actually like the way they look.
Too rainy for any long ride, but a short ride and so far they seem fine. Good thing for the mirror extensions as I now see my knuckles again, but not as much as it was stock.
