• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can someone instruct me on how to replace the parking brake sensor that’s on the front right knee side of the bike parking brake light won’t go off and it beeps. The sensor seems to be mounted with what looks like metal pop rivets any advice on how to remove it?

Thanks

I too need ideas on how to replace the parking brake switch. Has anyone out in Spyder lover world done this?? My bike is 2011 RT SE5.

Probably best to start your own thread on your 2011 RT SE5, that way nothing gets crossed up and misunderstood. ie different bikes, different motors, different systems, and different problems.

eg. sensor v switch

As stated in reply 3, per the service manual, the rivets need to be drilled out to replace the switch.
