• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I really don't want to ship but time is one factor and the other is my wife does not want to ride from NH to CA in 3 days.
I need to ship atleast one bike and possibly two bikes from New Hampshire to San Francisco, Does anyone have actually experience or know someone that shipped a bike? How was the experience?
Any help or input would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

My Experince. I hope it won't be yours

While in Florida for the winter I purchased a 2015 Spyder RT. I decided to ship it back to New York so I could enjoy it for the summer months. I called numerous shippers and I decided on ID Transport. A 50% deposit was sent on 2/27/16 to reserve a spot. The dimensions of the Spyder was given at this time. On 3/29/16 I was told that he would be able to pick up the Spyder in 12 to 15 days. On 4/4/16 I was told the Spyder would be picked up on 4/13/16. My wife and I made all of our departure preparations. The house was secured and our vehicle was packed to be ready to go after the Spyder was loaded. On 4/13/16 we received a phone call. There was something wrong with the trailer and the Spyder could not be picked up until the next day. On 4/14/16 I received a call from the transport driver. He told me that he had a bike to pick up in Leesburg and he would be in my area at 5:30 PM. At 6:00PM he called back. There was a problem. The bike he picked up in Leesburg was a custom chopper that was larger than anticipated and there was not enough room for my Spyder. He told me that my Spyder could be picked up on the next load in two weeks and I would receive a $100.00 refund for any inconvenience. I "graciously" declined their "genenerous" offer and I have terminated our business relationship. A slick web site and a long list of positive reviews is not always the true measure of a company owner's integrity.

I used Uship.com to ship my Spyder in July 2016 ... from Tampa to Indy. I was very pleased with the price and service.

I used Uship to get my first Spyder to IL from Texas. I've gone with Uship for ATV's, tractors and a truck over the years. All we superbly handled in all respects. The fees were very reasonable, the shippers were professional and the delivery times were all ahead of schedule, with the exception of a tractor which arrived an hour late. All of the shippers called from time time letting me know their whereabouts and progress.
As with any service, do the homework, negotiate the terms, double check their insurance, then sit back and wait for the arrival. Good luck!
