• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help with power outlet

I just got the BRP Power Outlet for the F3 (219400510). It has two USB sockets. I thought it would be a cigarette lighter socket. Are accessories now equipped with USB plugs? I'm not sure what to do with this thing.

If it doesn't suit your requirements, maybe send it back and ask for cigarette socket. I use the USB to charge my phone and Ipod.
I used the plug under the pillion seat. And remember when you do fit it, you need to have the motor running to make it live.

For some strange reason, this is the only one Can-Am specifies for the F3. I'm not sure if it was intentional.

I have added the 12V outlet under the seat on our F3. I believe the part number (from the 2015 accessory catalog) you need is 12V · 219400366. The catalog actually shows a USB and 12V version in the F3 section.

Enjoy the ride!

Dr John, I got mine from eBay, $8.00. I mounted it on the left panel with a quick disconnect so I can still take panel completely off. I also got the USB plug for it, Walmart. works great.:doorag:

Power outlet

Hi DrJohn, can you installed the BRP Power Outlet for the F3 (219400510). I want try figure out how hard is it and if I can install in other place different back seat

thanks

Has anyone installed it on a F3-T? It says it is compatible, but the F3-T has the rear shock air adjuster where the regular F3 has the mount for this. I cannot find any other place to put it.

John, my dealer had both....the one with USB posts and the one with a cigarette lighter which I bought as my tire compressor uses the cigarette lighter style power plug. I installed under the passenger seat. Why BRP only shows the USB for the F3....who knows.........I believe the cigarette lighter style was actually listed for the RT.....but fits the rear F3 accessory power outlet perfectly.
