• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Battery unhooked.
Finally got the bike back.
It was a shift shaft assembly and snap rings gaskets etc.
Thanks for the help..

P0740. TCM BOSCH. Clutch torque transfer performance too low. Cause - Clutch coefficient of friction low. Clutch kisspoint pressure high. Maximum clutch pressure low. Action - change engine oil. Replace clutch if friction coefficient or offset out of service limits. Replace HCU if max clutch pressure too low.

Oil change has less than 1500 miles on. Amsoil in it.
Got an HCM filter in my basement to change this fall when I would have done the next change. From you Ron, thanks you're the man.
Just got a call from the dealer.
Got bad solenoid or solenoids in clutch/ transmission.
$1300 in parts + labor. Hoping to find out more on that when he calls me back. We'll see how the BEST Warranty is going to handle it.
Update to follow...

Prior to this fault code were you observing any flare on upshifts or downshifts, especially when during hot weather or slow traffic conditions? If you were clutch plates might be affected too.

The HCM has its own pressure and scavenge pumps with a line pressure twice as high as engine oil pressure along with separate oil pressure and temperature sensors controlled by a fairly sophisticated TCM.

This is a curious failure. I hope things work out for you and you're on the road for springtime.

If it happened all of a sudden it might just be a bit of grit stuck in a valve. I think BUDS can be used to force the valves to fully open and that might flush it out.

From what I understand, this was a hardware failure on the clutch basket. Sounds like sgerksinwi has a solenoid problem. We have dealt with a few of these. But they were either due to damaged wiring (mice/rats) or physical damage to the solenoid in a collision.

Hopefully, the extended warranty will take care of it.

It is amazing that people are so quick to point the finger at Amsoil when, as far as I know, there has never been an Amsoil related issue.
