I just got my new front sprocket today. But I misplace the old (destroyed) one and I'm not sure which side goes in. There one side with a depper lip than the other, HELP

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need more info? The sprocket is different depending on the year. Look on BRP's Spyder web site, under owner center. Look for parts cataloge, it will give you exploded views of all parts of the Spyder.

The side with the shoulder goes outside the side with the spline cut all the way is inside just the opposite of the rear

What year and model of Spyder?

It's a 2010 RS sm5 . The sprocket that I purchased from SHS have shoulders on both sides, that why the doubt. I went to a friend's house today and verify his spyder. Mission acomplished, Thanks everybody for your help
