• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help with juice box problems

To the best of my knowledge, the JB does not interface with the ignition coils AT ALL.

It intercepts the fuel injection pulses before it gets to the injectors and modifies the pulse duration to make the fuel richer by whatever amount you set (can't do leaner). That's all.

.

Thats what i was understanding as well..... i really have no idea what the story is with this whole ordeal and i have thrown in the towel haha:banghead:

If i knew where all the vacuum lines are i would, but as of now I'im not sure. I'm going to ride it for a while and see how it is. I have no ambition to try and wrestle with thing anymore haha. I checked to see if maybe my y gaskets were leaking because the right had an immense amount of heat but i didn't feel any with my hand when i first started it up. i checked these after i saw the 02 sensor was loose. i know the bike had a full compression and leak test done so the next time i take it back i will have them tighten the o2 sensor. I'm just glad to have my bike back.
Just use a cresent wrench to tighten the 02 sensor its easy. Why wait for the dealer. I do understand your frustration.

i dont have one big enough gotta go get one..... my frustration is through this whole ordeal the idle was always constant until they cleaned the purge valve and put it back in as a temporary fix for me to go to a bike show that was in town... and then being told it was from my exhuast when my exhuast was on for a month before it was to the shop and in that month i rode a total of 1000 miles

Your common sense is telling you that it couldn't be the exhaust and I agree. When its convenient you may want to take it to different dealer if possible.

A local shop that sells can am has a bike night every thursday its a pretty big deal... going to talk to them tommorow about getting this all straightened out. btw i checked all the lines i could see and they all look to be tight not sure about any crack i couldnt see any that were visible. Thanks for the input though

I'm an ex Pittsburgher, pm me sometimes and will talk about what I went thru with my mods to get to the point I'm at with the Spyder. Maybe I can help.

I am dialing back my JB numbers a lot since the second update. As Doc commented here or on another thread, the second update 'corrected' how lean the bike runs...this means that we don't have to have the JB cranked up so high to get fuel in as it looks like the update helped in this area.

I think I'm close with where I need to be...still a bit of popping when I hit the throttle in 4th gear after coasting...doesn't seem to be much of an issue in other gears...

I hope I'm right when I decrease settings two and four to see if this helps...I have them set around 2 and 2.5 (I think), and I can go lower...I should be out for a ride this weekend, so if anyone is interested, I can post how the bike runs...
