• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Help with Clearwater Lights Install!!

View from behind

New member
My husband has mounted a set of Clearwater Darla lights on our Spyder and the instructions call for a connection to a grey and beige wire (low beam) and a connection to a grey wire (high beam). With the left mirror and side panels removed we are unable to find these wires. He can see the grey wire but cannot possibly connect to it without much more body removal. Has anyone added these lights and could possibly help with a location to connect to these wires? Any help will be greatly appreciated.:banghead:

Has he removed the panel where you check the oil? With that and the panel above and the black service panel (in front trunk) off he should be able to get to the wires. And of course, to get there you first need to remove the mirror and the wind deflectors.

Yep the Darla lights I installed. The connector is on the left side of the bike behind the fronk on the left like under the headlight..Now keep in mind I have a 2014 RT Limited.. I used posi taps also to hook up the lights..That will trigger the low and high beams to turn on. And did you get the pot to adjust the light brightness?? Because that will need to be hooked up too..
