• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Help Sourcing something better for my hands

I have a lot of nerve damage and I would like to put some thicker grips or something on my 2014RT. Does anyone have any ideas that will not require me to shave the brand new gear shift arm? I dont mind trimming the rubber if needed but wont like trimming the gear shift as I had to on my 2012 a year and a half ago.
Thanks for any help/suggestions you can give.

I have the $12 amazon grab on foam grip covers on mine. They have been there for 2 seasons now and work quite good. No complaints.

Original Grip Buddies. Loved mine. Almost wish I had not put on the kuryakan grips.

No shaving anything and very comfortable. Only thing I will say is mine did start to show wear after about 4,000 miles. e.g. the knurling or texture on them started to wear off. They could have gone another 4K if that doesn't bother you.

I have run into the same situation on my 2014. I re-installed my grip puppies on the handlebars and they seem to work for now. Grip Puppies and another supplier are both mentioned in posts above.

I have used Grip Puppies too, but found I prefer the soft bicycle grips found at Fred Meyer's or Target for $10. I use them on all my bikes and ATVs. Grip Puppies made the grips too fat for my hands.
