• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help fast ! Long trip only half done !!

2014 RT ACS not working. Think highway buffeting may have blown fuse. Need to know which 1 is for ACS.
Can't find it listed on fuse box diagrams.

I think it is # 5 fuse in Right Fuse Box . Load shedding, Horn fuse, 25 amp . If horn works fuse is good. That's taken from an old Post I found.

I think at least in my '13, it was the only 20 AMP Yellow fuse, lost horn, heated hand grips, fog lights and ACS pump. Fuse box lid said load shedding.....

I'll look later today at hotel.

Actually headed your way tomorrow for last night on the road. Then home on the 5th to Tenino.

horn works, so......................

Status check - - OK, just checked horn and it works. Looking up underneath after todays 6 hour run, the air bag appears to be in the same inflation state and position as last night. No buffeting on highway or rough roads today, and ride appeared "acceptable", with no "porpoising" up/down like a failed system might give you. Trying to adjust with the dash controls does nothing - and I don't hear the compressor kick in. One other input.....not necessarily related......Last night at the hotel I removed the extended splash guard I had made for the rear a while ago, and that definitely eliminated the number of times the rear bottomed out on entry curbs into places, etc. I had noticed
before removing that it was only approx. 1.5" above the ground with a full up load. Rather than fight it I just removed and disposed for now.

What about the relay someone mentioned in other posts, that fixed their problem? Anyone know where that is? :banghead:

I just finished a 10 day trip, the first part of which was solo, the last 4 days was 2 up, on the second day of 2 up we noticed we were bottoming out. I used my Lamonster approved cordless air pump at every fuel stop and our every 100 mile rest stops. Inflating the airbag manually to 80lbs, helped a lot, but we were often below 10 by the next fill up. Replaced the fuse (as my horn wasn't working) and the compressor kicks in. But Im sure I've got a slow leak to track down.

Have you checked your airbag's pressure?

Yes. It was 0 when I checked it. I could only put 20 pounds in it before I blew the fuse to the rear compartment plug in port. Replaced fuse now, but need to stop and get battery tender connector (which of course I have 1 at home !) to go off the battery to the compressor I have with a cig lighter end on it.

We initially didn't properly diagnose the blown 20 amp fuse (load shedding). I was almost a week into our IBA ride and return, pulled that fuse a 2nd time and yep it was blown. Before double checking the fuse we were topping the bag off with the under seat valve at every gas and rest stop, about hourly, and it felt much better getting home.
i was filling the bag to 80lbs.
Now I'm off to research leak checking, I've read where a check valve on the compressor could stick open as well.
