• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need dealer to fit shorter brake rod?

Wife was researching moving the foot pegs back, shorter rod. She came up with "need to have the dealer do the work so the Can-am computer can update the bike to the new pedal location"
I'm smelling a major sales pitch there. Please confirm the nonsense.

That's not a 'sales pitch' you're smelling!! It's pure, unadulterated, but very sloppy bovine faecal matter! :yikes:

Simple job that can be done with normal shop tools and in your driveway.
No computer needed.

What the rest said. The computer has no idea where your pedal is. I'd run away from that shop FAST but 1st I'd speak with the shop manager and let him know what someone there is trying to scam you over.

Ahhh, read the post......................it was his WIFE that came up with the idea of shop doing it. thats the way it was written, unless he wrote it wrong

F3 it is about a 3 minute job ............ 2 minutes if you have needle nose pliers in your back pocket. I disconnect mine a lot of the time when the brake caliper is off of the disk just to make sure nobody accidentally steps on the brake.
