• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I bought the Spyderpops Bumpskid for my 14 RTL. Has anyone installed this Bumpskid? Any assistance is appreciated.

Many of have installed this product but I am not one of them, lol. However, I recommend that you search for install threads for it and you should find plenty of info. Good luck!

I have one and installed it. Pretty easy install. Just make sure you exactly follow the instructions. Be careful when drilling the additional holes, especially those close to the radiators.

:agree: Those extra mounting holes are pretty important; they help to tie the entire front bodywork together in a much more solid way.

as far as drilling... I might suggest to use a piece of PVC pipe (I used 1/2") cut the PVC pipe just long enough so that the drill goes thru it enough to get the hole drilled .... but will limit the drill bit from getting close to the radiator.. this might save an expensive repair..

Deep breath....

Spyderpops instructions are great. Just relax follow them and take your time. Not a race and you can stop and come back later...

OSM's suggestion is great! the job was very easy, directions very explicit. Was my first farkle and an examination of the underside shows it was very, very wise purchase.

I bought one but had my dealer install it when I brought it in for an oil change. 1/2 hour labor.

The instructions that came with the skid were very clear and easy to follow. A person with average to low mechanical ability should have no problems.

My hang up was drilling two holes in the :spyder2:. For me--:yikes:
