Need advise

I am doing the 28,000 mile service on my wife's 2014 RTS and need to know what is the best way
to drain the coolant from the cooling system as I see no drain plugs.

From the service manual: Cut the Oetiker clamp off the lower right radiator hose and remove the hose. Reinstall with a new clamp.

May I suggest if you plan to continue doing service and farkles on her RTS go to canammanuals.com and download a copy of the service manual. Less than $30 and well worth the money.

Agree...

Remove the hose replace the hose clamp with a good worm drive one. Makes it easier for the next time and if you don't have the oetiker clamps and tool you will have to invest cause they are size specific. You do have the internal filter and gaskets if you have the SE model....shop manual is a plus...:thumbup:

:agree: If you're going to continue using the Oeti\\ker clamps; you might as well get the proper tool for the job... :thumbup:

I will use the worm screw clamps, thanks. What internal filter and gaskets are you talking about? I do have an SE.
I have a shop manual some where on a hard drive I just have to find it.

There is a transmission filter that needs replacing at 28,000 miles. Unlike the twin which had two filters replaced externally the triple has one behind the engine cover right side. Will be listed in the owners manual and cov r ed in the shop manual...
