• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need access to lower radiator hose - 2012 RT?

So I’m going change the radiator fluid and want to remove the lower hose. Sound simple and is simple except it’s buried in there. I really don’t feel like removing the frunk if I don’t have to. Can I go in through the right side and use the thermostat hose? Any help is appreciated.

I would think if you have the side panels off her, there will be all kinds of room to get to that bottom hose on the radiator.

Thanks for the picture it really helped. I didn’t know that I had to remove so much Tupperware.

Np Sorry didn’t show the secondary air deflection part that is under the tupperware. Nothing horrible but does has areas to hook around hoses & wires.

I've had the frunk off my 2010, it seems more intimidating than it is, but it may not be necessary just to access the radiator and cooling system. I would say if you havent already replaced the plugs and wires, it would be a good time to also do it, but I see in your signature you say:

2012 RT , Replaced with Bahrain wires Red

So I'm guessing you already did that. I had a coolant leak early on and I had to pull off quite a bit of the right side tupperware to get to it. Turns out it was a leaky clamp. I ended up just changing out the coolant since it was already about 8 years old at the time.

Have a look at this YOUTUBE video about removing panels.

An while your at it get some Magic Mirror mounts and get rid of that Mirror removal for the rest of your ownership. These are available from a variety of sellers and worth every penny. You can DIY them as well and save a bundle. Details available at this web site.

Also worth considering is the Heat Modification, New Scoops under the mirrors, to reduce the hot air on the feet. Info on this site as well.

Enjoy your SPYDER.
