• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need a new wind shield...

Krap!!!
I guess f1 will be making my next slider... For now

Well, now... I have some bad news for you there, too. Remember this pic? That's an F1 slider shield after a brick was dropped on it from five feet. A good rock or bolt coming at you from the car/truck ahead will do the same, IMHO. I was called all sorts of names by the Marcel aficionados at the time for posting and discussing this.

I know his or f1 windshield is not the best quality out there but Marcel had the right windshield for me. It was small enough and gave me just enough protection when it was extended. A full size windshield just was not right for me and despite of all the krap, i am sure people who bought slider from him had purchased his slider for the same reason.

Was just wondering what could coach of Hawaii have said to make this game winnable for them against Boise.....

I just changed mine today. I had the largest Cal Sci, which I liked until I replaced my bars. After replacing my bars, I have a more upright position. My head was being blasted by the wind again, so I went with the Madstad 24". I went riding for a couple miles on a couple different interstates: one that runs north/south and the other going east/west. I had quite a cross wind out of the southwest on the east/west road, but it was not too bad. On the other interstate, my ride was fairly quiet and turbulance free. I am quite pleased with how it performed. I did have to mess with the adjustment a bit, but I think I'm pretty close to the sweet spot.

Madstad has worked best for me. The F1's (large and xl) created terrible buffeting, and I found the company to be a nightmare. I would never order from them again. The owner of Madstad is great--very consumer-friendly. As others have mentioned, it was a bit challenging to make adjustments at first, but once I figured it out I could make changes pretty quickly. I now have it locked it in the sweet spot and have almost no buffeting up to 80 mph.

I wonder if I can convert my BRP 25" touring windshield and pair it up with the Madstad bracket system. This way I wouldn't have to spend more $ for a new windshied.
What do you think, is that workable? :dontknow:

I've seen another poster on here that did just that. There are directions that come with the bracket on how to make a drilling template, so you shouldn't have a problem with hole placement.

since I have an RT and no longer have my RS, I will have soon the madstead complete setup to sell.. as I said before it worked great for me.
