• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

National Parks Senior Passes going up in $ soon!

Jeherst Jack, I was a member of QCYC for many years and we have our outstation on Bainbridge. (Winslow). Right next to the public dock. It is the very best area. Lived in Seattle but my heart is in Puget Sound.

FYI, for any disabled Veterans there is another pass called Access Pass. You can pick it up at your local game warden office and it allows you free entry into any national parks and some discounts on certain park amenities. Also, it is FREE!

Dang I must be old and don't know it....

I've had my Senior, National Park, Pass for a couple decades and use it alot...got it laminated so it wouldn't wear out...No stickers for me...'cause I don't like them on my windshield...
Dang a couple days ago I was told I was to OLD to do some "adventure activities"...huh what's that all about??? :yikes: Guess I should have fibbed and said I was only 67!!!
Can't win 'em all...but can try..:thumbup::thumbup:

Enjoy it while you can. Time seems to go to warp speed when you pass 60. :yes::yes: I remember 60 just a few days ago, now I am 71. Where did it go???

Know what you mean, I can remember it took a month to go from Monday to Friday, now blink your eyes and it's done.
:banghead:

Senior Pass

Just picked mine up today. Just turned 62 last week which you have to be to be eligible for the pass. Heard the price was going up on the news so I took the opportunity to ride up to Zion's Park this morning for breakfast at Oscar's then to the entrance to get a pass for my wife and I. $20 for two senior lifetime passes. August 1 they go up to $80 each. That would have been $140 more than I paid. The difference more than paid for breakfast. See ya all in St. George.

Just an FYI we have until August 28th.

"In order to meet requirements set by legislation passed by Congress in December 2016, the price of the America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior Pass will increase from $10 to $80. The change will take effect Aug. 28."

That's what I have and use, visited many parks with it.......

Hey Jack

They have then at Saguaro National Park (West) on Kinney
I personally think they are to cheap and the National Parks need funds. IMHO

I got my decal for my Spyder at Saguaro National Park East. Ranger told me about them. Ranger said they were going to be fining people without one on their vehicles. To many people going into the park without a pass before the rangers get to the booth in the mornings. So the rangers would do a drive through the park first thing to see who had their park passs on their vehicles those without get a ticket.
