• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

just wanted to know if anyone was attending the bike week this year in myrtle beach south carolina? i will be there the days of may 19th - the 22nd

Not sure if I will be going there again this year or not. Last year was kind of screwed up for me there. I will have to wait and see how things go.

yeah that is what i hear. something about they started a helmet law last year. i hear that law and some others have been taken away. this will be the first time i have been. it WILL be epic.

If it will be your first time then I would definitely go check it out. I wear my helmet 95% of the time, so the helmet ordinance didn't really bother me. It was just that everything was spread out so far because the vendors were not set up in the city. North Myrtle Beach seemed to have the most biker friendly stuff going on. The Mall behind Hooters and Barefoot Landing had a lot of vendors. I did not really see any big vendor set ups on the south side though.

Hopefully this year it will be different and possibly start going back to what it used to be.

Just past the old air force base heading south were some vendors behind the harley scooter store. It will be interesting to see where the vendors set up at in myrtle beach or north and south of the city limits? I'am glad that state told them what for. By the way i usually come in thru highway 501 ( 1 of 3 ways in and out of MB) 501 runs east and west or 17 north and south but 501 on a friday about 5-10 mph some times it gets backed up all the way to aynor and beyound you still might need a helmet cause you might fall asleep and fall off the bike. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: Now here is a sceret don't tell anybody just pass conway look for a sign that says 544 take that south or east go to route 31 this is a much faster way to get in and to north MB if that is where you are going no lights just a big old highway CAUTION DO NOT SPEED ON 544 YOU WILL GET STOPPED!!!

thank you for the warning. me and some friends are planning on pulling out of Hampton,SC at 5:30am Thursday, may 19. get there about 8:30 or 9am. ride a while. check in to hotel at 11am. get set up and eat lunch. then take a good nap and then get ready for Thursday night. i do know we are going to watch some people doing stunts on Saturday. other than that. party and have fun and see what kind of trouble we can find to get into.:shemademe_smilie::cus:. then wake up Sunday ride some, load up bikes and ride back to Hampton.

Catniption and I plan to attend; I think we will be there the same days as you. Nip said that she found the best rate at Bay View, but I plan to stay with the parents; they moved to MB last year. Yeah, I'm cheap.
